Students Learn to 'Think the Drink'

70 Year 12 students took their first steps on 25 June to increasing their awareness about alcohol when they undertook Responsible Service of Alcohol training at Goondiwindi Training and Technology. The training is part of the novel and interactive ‘Think the Drink’ program which has proven to be a successful strategy in helping future consumers make more informed decisions about their responsibilities and behaviours when consuming alcohol. Careers Exposed at GTT

In a first for Goondiwindi, 200 Year 9 and 10 students from Goondiwindi State High School and Boggabilla Central School were treated to an interactive and hands-on careers expo on Wednesday 24 June. Twelve exhibitors from a range of industries descended on Goondiwindi Training and Technology to take part in the Border Rivers Careers Expo providing participants with a fabulous opportunity to explore a myriad of training, recruitment and trade opportunities without leaving town.
