Goondiwindi Training and Technology runs a number of successful programs targeted to specific groups that are delivered on behalf of Commonwealth and State Government Departments.

Youth Connections (YC)

YC provides flexible and tailored assistance for young people who have disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from education. More information

Get Set for Work (GSFW)

GSFW is an integrated training and work readiness program aimed at assisting disengaged 15 to 17 years olds gain the skill set required to secure sustainable employment. More information

Macintyre Alternative Training and Education (MATE)

GTT delivers the MATE program each semester on behalf of Goondiwindi State High School. MATE provides training (both accredited and non accredited) to assist at risk students make a successful transition to either learning or earning. More information

Macintyre Community Literacy Program (CLP)

GTT's Community Literacy Program provides face to face literacy and numeracy training that is tailored to the individual needs of the participant to assist them to successfully engage in training and / or employment. More information

Think the Drink (TTD)

In conjunction with the Goondiwindi Liquor Accord, GTT facilitates the award winning Think the Drink program which raises the awareness of responsible use of alcohol for Year 12 students. More information

Telstra Connected Seniors (TCS)

GTT was successful in receiving a grant to conduct Telstra Connected Seniors® mobile phone and internet training workshops to Goondiwindi seniors. The grant is part of Telstra's $3million, three year Telstra Connected Seniors® program which helps older Australians make the most of new communications technology. More information

Structured Workplace Learning (SWL)

GTT is contracted by Goondiwindi State High School to place its Year 10 students into two blocks of structured workplace learning. Students from Goondiwindi State High School undertake SWL in May and August each year. More information

Pushing the Boundaries (PTB)

Each year GTT works with the Macintyre Valley Cotton Growers Association along with local cotton industry stakeholders to deliver Pushing the Boundaries - Cottoning onto Careers. More information
