Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
This nationally recognised qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. It may also provide credit towards other national training qualifications and university qualifications.
From 1 January 2016, trainers and assessors in the VET sector must hold at least a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a qualification in adult education at a diploma or higher level.
Participants may include those who wish to become workplace trainers and assessors, TAFE or RTO trainers or tutors, training advisors or vocational education teachers.
Skills developed include the ability to design and develop learning programs and training packages, facilitate programs in a one-on-one or group based learning environment and assess learners on their individual capabilities.
The course will be delivered through six (6) days of face to face training over two (2) weeks. A variety of assessment methods may be used, including recognition or prior learning and after course work to demonstrate competency. Participants should have a sound level of English language and literacy.
COST: $2, 120.00 per person
TIME: 8.30am – 5.00pm
INCLUSIONS: All day catering will be provided each day
