Who We Are
At Gateway To Training (GTT), we transform lives and support businesses by removing the barriers to access quality training in regional communities.
We create pathways to greater opportunities for local people and businesses, in order to build our vibrant and resilient regional communities.
As a community-based not-for-profit organisation, we continually look for ways to enhance employment skills and build the capacity of our rural and regional communities through the delivery of training and employment-related programs.
For rural and regional industries, businesses and communities to grow and prosper in today’s highly competitive environment, investment in people is vital.
Goondiwindi SILO Inc (Schools Industry Links Outreach) t/a Gateway To Training was established in 2000 and soon after built a specialised training centre in Goondiwindi. We have since expanded and now service the Border Rivers, Southern Downs, and Balonne regions in Southern Queensland with offices in Goondiwindi, Warwick, Stanthorpe and St George.
GTT helps job seekers find sustainable employment through government and non-government funded job-ready programs. We support businesses and individuals to gain accreditation and learn new skills through our short courses. We provide specialised meeting, conference and staff training facilities, complete with AV equipment, catering, set-up and support. Plus we provide support and services to local university students so they can study locally through our Regional University Centre in Goondiwindi.
Our friendly and professional staff look forward to welcoming you to GTT.
