First Aid and CPR
Cost: First aid and CPR $150; First Aid in an Education & Care Setting $150; CPR update only $85
From snake bites to burns, heart attacks to head injuries, gain the skills and confidence to handle most workplace and day-to-day emergencies and administer basic first aid by undertaking first aid and CPR training.
With a focus on real-life locally relevant scenarios, you’ll learn the theory and practical sides of first aid and CPR that could save a life, plus provide you with first aid certification.
Or for those working in an education or care role, Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting teaches the specialist skills to respond to first aid emergencies in inf children and adults.

Certification
This training is delivered in partnership with an RTO. Assessments and subsequent Statements of Attainment are provided by the RTO.
Valid for three years with the CPR component only valid for 12 months. Updates required which can be undertaken at GTT.

- Pre-course reading is required.
- Face-to-face training (Full course: 7 hours 30 minutes, CPR only: 4 hours 30 minutes)

Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting
Cost: $150
Working in education and child care requires specialist skills and knowledge to respond to first aid emergencies in infants, children and adults, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.
This short course will provide you with an understanding of medical emergencies unique to small children, the physical differences between children and adults, and how to administer first aid to an ill or injured child.
Certification
A Statement of Attainment for HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting and Provide CPR HLTAID009 will be issued upon successful completion of all assessments.
We also offer annual HLTAID009 CPR Update accreditation.
Valid for three years with the CPR component only valid for 12 months. Updates required.

Low Voltage Rescue
Cost: $120
Low voltage rescue training provides electricians with the knowledge and skills to perform a rescue in a low voltage electrical emergency, plus enact relevant health, safety and risk management procedures.
This accreditation is an annual requirement for electricians.
Certification
A Statement of Attainment for UETTDRRF06 Perform Rescue From a Live LV Panel and Provide CPR HLTAID009 will be issued upon successful completion of all assessments.
Valid for 12 months.
